Youth 4 Change Award Scheme

Gorta's educational initiative, Youth 4 Change, is entering its third year and we hope that your school will become a part of it.

“Young people often have a very clear insight into development issues, both at home in their local communities, and at a global level. Youth 4 Change aims to tap into their concerns and encourage young people to make a difference, no matter how small, within their own community or to assist a community in a less fortunate part of the world” JIM COUGHLAN - CEO GORTA

The Youth 4 Change initiative is FUN, FREE and ALL STUDENTS receive awards for taking part. Outstanding entries will also receive awards for the school.

Kelloggs Great Walk 2005

Gorta would like to wish everybody taking part in the Great Walk 2005 the very best of luck!!

Between April and September Kelloggs are inviting people to step out and make a difference by taking part in one of the biggest charity events of the year.

With so many deserving registered charities and worthwhile causes around the world it was impossible for Kelloggs to choose just one beneficiary, so participants are invited to decide who they will give their sponsorship money to.

Should you wish to donate your well earned cash to Gorta, please e-mail us at fundraising@gorta.ie giving us your name & contact details and we will be happy to post out our sponsorship card & info pack.

The Kelloggs Great Walk is not a race........it is about getting active, helping others and most of all, it is about having fun!!!

Letterkenny Musical Society

Thank you to the Letterkenny Musical Society especially Paddy McTeagh and Plunkett Farney who raised €1,500 for Tsunami fund.
